Bean looks great Mr Bean and I love the tom vines. Have you thought of having the spent part of the vines over the side of the grow-bed so as to free up all that garden space?

Knew would love it John :D

VB, thought of nasties crawling up the vines (mice/rats/me), so tried to keep them to the side...easy to move aside and plant in between.

Need to plant more seedlings shortly and rip out the beans as they are starting to die off :sigh:

Nice Les, fantastic to see such a productive greenhouse. Those tomato plants look like a work of art too.
Well done.

Dear John, and Janet and TC and Dave and Don and all the other forumers reading this

Hi, thought I would drop a quick note to let you know how things are going...well not so good

Caught this bug, craze or virus going around called Apaquonics or something and had to have remedial surgery

Dr Joel (AA) and his elite band of modulators put me under the virtual knife and removed my “EDIT” function – starting to slowly recover and now doing therapy sessions with the same team...not cheap but worth every cent of it.

Symptoms of the virus is related to pH, temperature, A-Monya, Notrights, Notrated and feeding...so better let you in on how I am fairing:

pH – has been decreasing of late, but with an addition of some shellgrit it is heading towards neutral

Temp – in the mornings is getting to as low as 17c, but am taking solar Fahrenheit tablets and there is improvements during the daylight hours...Dr Joel says I need to keep up with my intake for another 4-5 months before the solar Fahrenheit tablets kick in (seems to be an annual cyclic thing  )

A-Monya – this has put a big smile on Dr J’s face as this has remained at zero, so there is no need to add cycling to my monthly exercise

Notrights – did seem to get to 0.25, but this was put down to the high feeding rate combined with high temp...this has decreased to zero since the temp has gone down and feed has reduced (must be a connection there somewhere)

Notrated – consistently remains at ~150...modulators say this is okay – just do a purge on the fish kids when they become teenage devils and plant more seeds

Feeding – ties in with temperature...this has dropped to 40% of that used only a month ago, but with a few more solar Fahrenheits and recovery time – all will be back to normal (the words of Dr J)

Extra therapy recommended when I am capable – planting of seeds and seedlings, this has begun with tossing in a handful of peas and beans and lovingly caring for them with the solar Fahrenheit fish water.

In summary, Apaquonics is with me for life and I have just got to make the most of this health wise

Hope you are well and that if (no when) you catch this bug, I can give you the name of a good surgeon and therapist who has had vast experience in this field (especially in “EDIT” function removal...ably assisted by nurse Shamie)

From your Aussie mate
Les :reindeer:

ps
Have added some later photos of the family

...no I haven't, the virus attacked the camera batts so need a quick fix...seem to have occasional apaquonic lapses
