Here is our first model. This one is built with a small pond pump from Lowe's, 100 gallon and 50 gallon agricultural tanks from Tractor Supply, gold fish from a koi pond store, and a heavy duty storage tub (27 gallons) for the header tank. It is a really simple flood and drain with holes in the bottom of the growbed. It was tricky to get the siphon to work and the water level right, but she has been trucking along perfectly for a few weeks now.

We probably will have to add grow beds as the fish grow. We have 10 goldfish--two fancy and 8 were feeder fish--rescued from the clutches of pet turtles :flower: .

I am growing a mish mosh of things that I had started as seedlings. I have some grape tomatoes, lettuce, spearmint, bush beans---yikes, what a mix. If all grows well I may have to pull some of it. It may end up being quite a jungle.

Yep - it will be a jungle - no doubt. This is one of my banks.

Probably the mint, or else it'll take over the whole growbed.
