Ron Paul is the only candidate that has ever kept his word. The rest are not worth a spit. However, people here are going to vote for who the press promotes in the two main parties and discount Ron because of what the press says; don't bother us with the facts, which is almost illegal to do anyway. If Ron did win then all the other babies in congress would sit down cross their arms and cry its not fair Im not playing; then not get any legislation done.

Lets face it most people here in the states don't ever take an active part in thier government. Until they do nothing is going to change it will stay status quoe(sp?)

Oh I don't know if Ron Paul was elected they would play because they would have to. If the VOTERS elected him by popular vote they wouldn't have any choice, but they would definately play their party games to boost the party agenda nothing new about that. Again until the VOTING POPULATION starts to scream nothings going to change.

Amen to that Badfish... applies all over the world not just to the US..... and the same goes for corporations, corporate policies with respect to the way they do business, treat customers, people, economies and environments....

We...We, surrendered our democratic rights and rights of citizenship... because we forgot the responsibility that goes with them.... to defend them and be vigilant....

I sense a major change about to sweep the world, and not before time.

All the more reason economic collapse would be a good thing in the long run. People are just not going to care as long as they can buy china products and make enough money for large houses and suvs, plane trips, and entertainment. Fat and lazy, physically and mentally.

It was mentioned "HC scares me".

HC scares the heck out of me. There is something in her eyes , evil.
I don't trust or like her ,, even though I have no dog in that battle as I'm an Aussie.

My advise ,, vote for anyone or anything except for HC.

Otherwise "the Axis of Evil" could be coming to you soon ( HC and the POPE).

I have strong feelings on this issue because I see the USA as both a friend and brother of Australia.

I dont know that the look in her eye :cyclopsani: is so much "evil" as it is alien.

I pray that this ends up being a race between Old M and Young O most definately the lesser of the evils so to speak.

And DDMan no time is a good time for an economic collapse all that ever comes from that is someone moving in to fill the void. May be better or it may be worse in the long run.

Now if your just talking about some severe tightening of the belt that may be another thing but it always effects those of less means more severly than those with some means.

We voted for Ron Paul down here in AL. My hubby is in the military (22 years and retiring soon). We were one of those many, many military families that LOVE the message that Ron Paul stands for.

Give me a break! HC will do more to change things to the positive than anyone else running. She is intelligent, articulate and compassionate. ( Two of the three are characteristics that American men fear most!) My life under the Clintons prospered more than the Bushes. Big tax breaks for the rich don't help me but controlling the debt helps all Americans.
There have been comments made that O would have been a preacher (and made a huge fortune) if he hadn't made out in politics. He preaches when he talks. I've read that his real name is Barry and he changed it to fit in better with his activist community. I don't want talk, I want action....

With all the scandals in our government, I doubt that anything will improve very fast.

All three are pro-immigration, so it will be interesting to address that problem.

Shame that the actual problem cause in USA ,, but others suffer.
it will all clear ,, just takes time.

HC , my opinion , evil personified. I'd vote Saddam before her.
