Isn't it funny how use to things we become.... a simple change of theme... swapping the member information to the other side etc.....

And suddenly I feel so much more comfortable with the new "look" .... strangely for some reason I wasn't before.....

It's all coming together slowly...

Having this new board freshly converted to the latest version of the phpbb software is going to be a great help. There were a few issues with the old board that were starting to get worse over time..

There are a lot of functions on this board that are really cool.... Also some things that will be sorely missed....

Must admit, having the avatars back on the left side is much better.... (see I did it Nocky )

Ohh, and indexing of all the posts for the search function, is still going.. It's been processing for about 7 hours so far...

118894 posts... say averaging 100 words each => 11889400 words to index... could take a while

FYI.... noticed many of the "old" posts correctly show multiple pages... but selecting any page only displays the last page of posts.....

Are you aware of this

oh and i'm sure the TIME a user registered wasn't shown before

for instance this thread shows three available pages at the top right... and they can be selected...

if you look at "View active topics"..... and have a look at Myles' Small System for instance...

You'll see it lists multiple pages.... but try selecting any of them... and only the last page displays and it only indicates "x" number of posts.... not consistant with "Y" number of pages...

This is the same for many of the threads

Hmmmm, nup, working fine for me.. by clicking active topics, then Myles topic, I could view all three different pages ..

Same thing.... "Black Poly Pipe" thread for instance ...

Hummmm.... logged off.... as a "guest" I can see all pages, in all threads....

Logged back in and get the results shown above..... must be a "user" setting

can any other user replicate ropes problem? it works for me.
