01.04.08 0.1 0.2 0-5 7.2
04.04.08 1 0.2 5 7
05.04.08 0.5 0.2 5 to 10 7.2 added 20 trout 100mm long

yeah definately - some might say do a water change, but that might stress the trout too much.

How big is your pond ?

Not just the ammonia levels I'd be concerned about, but the nitrites also....

Definately no feeding for two days if you can't do a water change....

What's the capacity of your growbeds?

Have you added any supplementary air to the tank?

pond approx 1500L

growbed cap is approx 200L more sitting there just havent got time to set them up yet

no need for extra air there's plenty have 2 air stones that are 30cm in diameter, the drain from the growbed which is decent and the whateva you call from the pump when you direct it back to pond coz too much flow into growbed lol cant think of what its called.

get those new gbs online mate, otherwise ur just wasting ur fishfood by upping the ammo toxicity in ur water. Too many fish for too small grow beds. Effects on fish are not necessarily lethal to be bad.

okay, really don't feed for two days. Don't forget your system has had a couple of upsets in the last week. You had the power off for nearly a day and you have had a 50% increase in fish load. Give the bacteria a chance to catch up. The fish will be fine without food for a couple of days.
Then, slowly increase the feed.

It might take a little longer than usual with 54F water temps.
Your last water test shows the nitrite and nitrate spiking, so thats a good sign.
