steve,
"With worm castings i recon they will leach all their goodness out and you will be left with an inert addition to your medai much like humus (A dark colored, stable form of organic matter that remains after most of plant or animal residues have decomposed.) Which incidentally many soils are lacking"
I guess that says what to do with the tailings after washing out a growbed.
Could be good for the garden where you grow your non-AP plants, potatoes and other intensive crops.

I have trialled worms in one row of my growbeds, left the other row alone. I want to see the difference Smile I added them from the start.

yep, but be careful, i've never cleaned out a grow bed yet, but i have removed solids from one of my fishtank.

it caked HARD and is far from an "airy" substance.

growbed tailings with worms may be different though.............

You could always mail order composting worms if you lack vitamin P

Surely that wasn't for me? Look where I live - they don't even know what mail order is down here! If I get mail, the Post office actually delivers it to my hand from the back of a motorcycle. :D
