My fish were doing the sucking for air thing as well, got the last ones into the tanks at about 11pm, and I reckon that would almost have to be the limit for time spent in the bags.

The water smelt really bad, and the fish were trying to push each other out of the water.

The would have been in the bags for almost 18 hours

Keep an eye on them for a day or two OB... and try and resist feeding them too much :D

Sounds like you just got them home in time...... hope they're not suffering from terminal stress....

Be prepared to salt them if you spot any fungus or they start "flashing"

Dp heat the pipe up until you can flex the cut with your finger (do this part quickly  ) Then push in the wedge by hand.

The trick is to only heat the pipe enough for it to mold around the wedge, too much heat and the pipe starts tearing at the edges of the cut.

The fish appear to be happy and are feeding well, hardest part is to limit the feed:)
