I think that big red might be tricking us. Maybe big red is not big at all, but instead is a midget - meaning that the bought cauli was really little and the garden grown one just average size :D

I went and checked mine after seeing those pics, and here are some pics from mine... I think these gardens are attempting to win us back!

A true joy the first BLT of the growing season, we look forward to it every year. My DG looks alot like Daves its about done still getting Toms, Cucs and Peppers though.

Are any of you doing "insectary" plantings? This is where you plant stuff like marigolds and allyssum to attract beneficial insects. I planted some marigolds but way late. Next year I will put an entire border of insectary plants of all kinds around my stuff.

checked about 2 and a half weeks ago - we have had rain here so I have not had to go over and water it (the veg garden is in the far corner of the yard - not on my usual 'path' around the yard...
