John that's awesome. Absolutely looks great. Is that polycarbonate glazing? I'm putting that on this weekend. You are right on w the water storage and stones...the gravel as well I think will give you thermal release at night, maybe paint the barrels black or dark green to match the frame? Dude, keep sending pics as you progress....excellent work!

Yes. Mike 2 wall polycarb, wierd when your holding it seems so fragile. Was thinking of a black weed matting wrap around Have to raise them up so the tops are level with the top of the side wall, maybe higher for the drain to the grow beds. Thanks.

Was wondering why my Strawberries were all dying in my little setup. They had wilted a slight bit when I transplanted them fom the dirt garden but after a day they looked great, all green and perky. Over time they all wilted and died.
Well I figured it was the fact they were getting very little sun, wrong.
After getting some lettuce and other seeds I pulled the dead Strawberries out of the growbeds and realized my little pond pump was no longer pumping to them. Adjusted the pump and all good. Planted some lettuce in the right bed and some Toms in the left. The left bed has two sprouts already! Its been mmm 3 maybe 4 days.
So Lesson learned this stuff works folks and if yours isn't check it out.

When Good Pumps Go Bad!

Those peppers are awesome. Are they going into the system?

Picking up the twin wall today. Still can't locate ridge cap/flashing for the install, may have to seriously improvise which means a gawdawful trip to Home Depot (I loathe the place).

MF, I hadn't planned on putting the peppers into the system but I emagine they will end up there if they survive my transplanting. They are in my better half's part of the green house. (Spose to be for flowers only).
Thanks DD. Back to the thumb work.
