Thanks, my sump tank level fluctuates by about 100mm over a full cycle of the 6Gbs...the furthest from the sump tank obviously takes a longer time to empty back into the ST than the closer one, hence the greater range...might put in a bit of thought into adapting your Dual Opposing Float Valves (DOFV)
configuration to my particular need

Cool. I had a maybe useful idea.

I am looking for a pump timer that will turn on the pump for 10 minutes and off for 10 minutes 24 hours a day. Anyone know of one?

Its called a cycle timer.

Added a light to lure bugs to the fish,

Fish waiting for bugs,

Valves to control flow to NFT tubes,

Mint growing,

Ive been watching the fish catch bugs, and alot of bugs get away. im thinking that a spray or mist of water across the beam of light may catch more bugs?

That looks really cool, especially at night MC.

Instead of the light have you thought about a bug zapper over the tank with the bottom taken off, the bugs will get zapped and fall into tank.

My thinking is the fish may not eat dead bugs?

This valve fills the tank back up when the garden gets water,

Aquatic Ecosystems has special bug light fish feeders. There is a spinning wire below the lamp that knocks bugs into the water.

Just make sure you have the light on a CGFI outlet so that if it falls into the water the safety shuts it off.

The way I got the light now , the bugs are flying right into the water. Hours of fun watching the fish eat bugs. I dont need TV anymore.

how bout an underwater light. I saw some at Lowes for moi ponds.

I used to have one in moi koi pond..... .... don't know if it attracted that many bugs though?

The fish are getting fat off the bugs, dunno how long it will last. I hope the bugs keep coming. I fed them about 50 worms today. I need a bigger worm farm.
