another day another scare campaing.
it's CNN, it's low brow i'd take it with a grain of salt.

if you want to be afraid of something, fear pole reversal. by all accounts we are due for one and when it happens kiss modern civilisation good bye.

on the plus side i predict we will all have a lot of spare time on our hands.

"A five-month Associated Press investigation has determined... "

it's not CNN but it's certainly no better. Believe in "research" done by the associated press organisation if you believe all the reports done by today tonight and ACA are true, because it's the same thing. they are non scientists picking and choosing the juicy bits from publications, then presenting it in a way that will sell newspapers.

i'm merely pointing out what was linked to in this thread. if there is something with more substance i'm all ears.
you only need to link me to one which is from a scientific journal or something peer reviewed and reputable, and not something agenda driven.

Do you think that those chemicals are destroyed by combustion?

If yes it could be good to have a peeponic system producing agrocarbs then. They have lots of problems here too with the estuarian fish neither female nor male, still breeding but producing "naturally" what they do for tilapia in hatcheries for supermales. They have found lots of triploids too. The fish from most rivers in france are no good for human cunsumption anymore. It's so sad because wild fish are so much nicer than farmed fish on all points.

Talking of human poisonning, my wife's granfather was an oyster farmer and has been eating tons of oysters all his life, he has parkinson disease now that is supposedly linked to high levels of heavy metals traces in food. As oyster ar the last filters of freswaters going to the ocean i think it is linked but nobody knows, he has worked from the age of 13 and has his retirement messed up because of stupid thinking people. He has had a very simple and safe life and is slowly but surely killed by the industry.

I hope we will be able to cure all the harm we've done to the planet before it beeing too late.
