Our system is almost set up (we'll post a member system thread this week) and now we're planning for fish. We had hoped to get tilapia from the Valmeyer FFA group, but they won't have fish available until summer. Miami Aquatics is our plan B, but we really don't need their 150 fish minimum order.

Do any of you US tilapia fans have fingerlings you would like to sell and air ship? Any suggestions on other commercial sources? We'd like to have fish in the tanks by early April.

LF, if you can't find another source, perhaps we could share an order. We haven't been back to the local fish store yet as we were waiting for our water to finish cycling (0 nitrites this weekend :D ) and now need to get it warmed up. Let us know what you think.

Janet and I shared an order from Miami Aquaculture last year for that same reason. Sorry but I don't have any fingerlings ATM.

My breeders are being very coy. Actually, I think all my breeders are girls. Sorry, no help here.
