I'm up for a beer (dates dependent), Couldn't get to KE's meet because of a friends party on the same day.

Where in Adelaide will you be moving to?

As for the fish transportation, yeah the oxygen and foam box on the plane would be the least stressfull for the fish.. pretty much how the aquarium trade moves them around.

I recently had 50 fish (40 - 70mm) delivered from Ausyfish in this manner, so ten silvers of 100mm or so should be OK.

BTW I think you should have called them all Eric, ala Monty Python's Eric the half beak. :)

I still think it's very risky, totally uneconomic and a large amount of effort which may be wasted due to the risk. IMHO :D

If the term "beer" can be all-encompassing, please make mine a bourbon and coke with heaps of ice, I'll be there with bells on

oh yeah, if you bring the fish over instead of adopting them out, I think you are most probably nuts, but if so, you must join us, because we are definately nuts, and proud of it! :)

Would Clove Oil help with transportation of the fish?
Is that what is used as a fish anaesthetic?

How long can you have the fish knocked out with the clove oil without causing them injury?

Transporting fish can have its hazards.

For 10 fish, I would give them to your brother and get new from monya. And don't name them. It's hard to eat things with names.
