yes there's a garage under, well a workshop actually(father uses it for working, was supposed to be a car garage..-->mom angry hehe), and there's a small basement on the left side of the garage under the ground---> will be used for breeding tanks
the FT will also be located on the left beside the platform(leveled under the platform), don't need a sump tank this way

yes we have a nice view all over our small valley, ppl pass by a lot, taking sunday walks etc., they'll throw an eye too, i'm picking a sign for my greenhouse....somethings nice, natural and true :D

Hello Molj,
I have just joined and read about your yellow leaves. I learned something too. Thanks for that and I will be looking for similar symptoms.
I will be planting later, want to get the fish poo in first, but I will be looking at Zuchini, tomato, eggplant, chilli and peppers.
Good luck with everything over there.
Cheers, Ira

Hi Molj, do you think the roof will be able to support the IBC safely?

well i think it should hold 26 ppl(60kg each), i did ask my father the same question, and i got pretty much the same answear as you did :) thanks for reminding me dave

p.s.

i see your concern, IBC-->fish tank?

fish tank won't be located on the roof, it will lay on the ground safely. so it's only 1600kg for that roof to hold(it's metal armored, with one face sitting on a big underground rock + side supporting walls and 3 supports in the front)

i was worried from the start too but i really don't think i need to be

Great! Yep IBC intermediate bulk container, or "tote" is what they call them around here.

molj, sorry but my skim-reading didn't find how you ended up solving your nutrient deficiency. would you mind recapping what products you used, and which nutrients you think were most in need of replacing?

thanks

hehe IBC it is! :)

steem: i added chelated Fe 3%, about 2 ppm of it, once a month, and things are blooming since then(i'd need more fish in fact!). when i first added it my calculations were wrong, that's why i didn't see much of an improvement from the start. once i got that right there were immediate changes in the root zone, white ones instead of the half dead ones.

i also added something like worm castings tea, full of amino, humic acids and vitamins + algea extract --> those two kind off strenghtened the growth, ---> the best "proof" was on the underwater plants, before the amino and other acids were added, their leaf veins were pale brown. once i added those two, the veins became dark purple and the leaves got bigger

so what i added was:

*organic chelated Fe 3%
*Vrt - algea extract(green algea - not the red one)-> IMO a good organic source of NPK, correct me if i'm wrong in my assumptions pls
*Vita - humic, aminoacids

i think someone said that Maxicrop was supposed to be something like Seasol in australia --> algea extract

i could say that the most important one is Fe, but when i saw Fe combined with those two i can't say that it's only Fe anymore. Fe is also very important for us, central molecule of hemoglobin, yet we need a lot of other nutrients yes, and also a healthy dose of vitamins and other things that we haven't even given them a name yet.

i love AP cos it can't be translated in the exact sience, there's always a lot of space to work around things your way.

asitis: thank you, i'll update when there's something to update, looking forward doing that :)

have a nice one chaps !

thanks molj, very helpful. I am adding fe and seasol, might just need a more of it.
I agree, love the mystery and the learning.
