Think so simmo, I'm sure others are using it but it may be best to check up on it first.

Dipel is one of the few safe and effective things that can be used in AP Simmo

First little hic-up  Late last night i was setting the timer to see how long it would take to fill the beds, worked out to around 5-6mins with only first stage running atm.
I then checked the drainage through the 8 beds, I have one bed on each stand that i made to drain really fast for plants that don't have so called wet feet.
To my surprise the beds on the first stand (closest to shed) drained really quick and the second stand alot slower??????

Worked out this morning the 100mm outer pipes were not sealing well at the bottom of the bed  , as the gravel is already in I have taken out the stand pipes and been trying to silicon them from the inside.
(can see design starting for a root chopper)

This would of worked well if not for the RAIN thats been bucketing down on and off since 16:30 and filling up the GB's  . I have managed to do half of them (courtesy of my new hot air gun) and hopefully the rest will be dry 2moro.

The power also went out here for around 1.5 hours so it is a timely reminder to organize battery back up for aeration

Why do the outer pipes need to be sealed at the bottom?

The water is running through the gaps (blue barrel is curved 100mm pipe flat) thus the barrels drain to fast IMHO plus I'm also worried small gravel will block the drain hole

Qwik off topic

It must be the stormy weather and rain but I was lucky enough to go outside just now (ok I'm that sad I set my alarm) and for the second time in the last couple of months my favorites have bloomed :D

Completed the tube for the system this arvo. Was worried at first I may stuff them up but after some sage advise (you know who you are) they didn't turn out to bad.
To who ever said" you can not fit a square peg in a round hole" I say "sir, you are a liar, you just need to do it sideways"

Rupe, I purchased a real cheap hot air gun from B (under$20)

Scottie, I have a couple of them that won't crank a car but will do well enough to not throw away.

OB, No worries.
