One of the only other members of the cannabacaea family. The other side of the family appears to grow well in hydro setups .

So it would seem!

I've got some Hallertau growing in a pot at the moment, I might try it int the AP next year to see how it goes..

where did you get your rhizomes from? i want to grow some hops for my beer making

the jovial monk gets rhizomes in every year in the cooler months - he's an adelaide brew store.

my main problem is WA quarantine.

I can't speak for WA rules, but if it helps when mine were shipped there was no soil attached, they were packed in damp cotton wool and in a plastic bag.

I believe the rhizomes all come from tassie where the quarantine is pretty strict as well.
