I thought so. Running late to work, but still had to dash inside and get the camera :-) They were so pretty.
Gotta go home soon though.

Wow Scottie, you and I think alike, that's exactly what I called it. I hid it in the header for the picture.
But to make it clearer it's now in the clear text also :-)

Ah, missed your title. Speaking of similarities, I studied Computer Science at RMIT, Bundoora ... way back! Bundoora used to be out in the sticks then, but I bet it's not anymore.

Nope, inner suburbia, they just dug up and subdivide the last available parkland. Covered in houses now and sold.
Mill park Land is available, but you'd be blown away by the development.
You have to go half way from Mill park to Whittlesea to see cows nowadays

there were many quality photos, and from someone who's been into photography for 15 years i felt really bad making a choice.....................

in the end i had to go with Gnash's "site supervisor" i remember when i first saw it i didn't realise that the dog was real.

sorry to the others, any of them could have gone straight into a national geographic mag.................

I agree, I particularly liked Faye's dragonfly on diffenbrachia... so detailed and odd colouring, it almost looked hand drawn, the contrast is so sharp.

stands to reason if you posted the shot that you thought it was good ;-)
I wonder if this poll will get enough votes to actually show a 'true' result

Good looking Marron? Simmo. Or Yabbies or whatever. Be good eating.

Great shots of your marron, simmo_77!

Were they just born? Is that why you couldn't submit them to the photo comp in time?

had to take a photo or 2 of these!

I know we are not bird 'mad' but these have not been around for a few
years, now it seems we have a few families of them 'splendids' and as
then name suggests, they are!

Hopefully I can workout the normal camera rather than these phone shots.
