licenses are tough to get and that is why we will do the right thing and keep it!
Excited about these fish, will be doing some pretty well documented experiments re growth rates, and will be aiming to have our whole farm certified organic by the end of 2010.

Hi Mon,

I won't be needing any fish for a while, But will let people know where they can get some SP for their farm dams, aqua setups etc..

Good to see someone with a plan and making it work. :)

Quick update, the fish are now arriving on somewhere between the 16th and 20th of February. Glad no one was in a hurry

Sweet, I am after some silvers (PM sent). My system has been ticking over with the goldies for too long now, time to get some decent growth going. Also hard to eat goldfish...

The new venture is looking pretty amazing there Mon.

Bit of bad news folks.

The fish will no longer be coming. We are bitterly disappointed and will contact by PM anyone who had some ordered with us.

Cheers

Stu and Dan

Alright, minor hiccup. Fish tests in QLD came back with parasite infestation, so we are not going to take them. No way we want anyone else let alone our own farm infested with parasites.

We are in the process of sourcing new suppliers and we are organising testing and freight from a different hatchery. So stay tuned, hopefully we will have them in a couple of weeks

Cheers

Stu,
Yep, good call.
I think we are all better off with no fish, rather than lots of bad fish!

Cheers

that really sucks monya.

you did the right thing though. better late then invested with parasites. thats no good for anyone concerned. at least they were honest enough to tell you before they sent.

finding a reliable fish source in this game is very difficult. it is very difficult to organize orders for the ap market in such a situation. hopefully your customers will have some understanding of this.

having said this if you find a good supplier hang on to them at all costs. the ap industry needs people like you to sort this situation out. its a real mess atm, at least in WA. its one of the few restraints of AP at this point. reliable fish supply.

keep up the good work mate.

No probs with me Stu, I am very keen to get my silvers in the tank and growing, but I want healthy fish. :thumbright:
Most importantly, I want a reliable supplier I can trust and you and Dan seem to fit the bill very well.
I understand this is a little  for you both, but stick with it.
I am sure most of your BYAP customers in SA will! :D
