Did you read my plans on the grow chamber? It will be much like your effort, only on a bit larger scale using sunlight through the roof. I liken it to creating a grow chamber in a solar tube, connected to a tank of fish.

I have heard that the foil finish can burn the plants. I use the white foam board, no mylar sheath.

I use the white side of mylar roofing foil, it's great, no hot spots in a greenhouse anyway the plastic diffused the light already.

There's another product, like mylar with foil and white sides, but with card and bubble wrap in the center. Don't know the name sorry, but it's reflective, insulative, and stiff.

Four dead goldfish this morning.
My pH test kit ran dry a couple of weeks ago, need to get another one and see what is going on with that. Weather has been a little cold for the past week, but that shouldn't be it. The chelated iron product I have has other minerals in it like boron etc, including copper. It is chelated which from what I gather makes it safer, but from the little I have read so far this morning copper is more toxic at lower pHs. I added some of the stuff last night, which makes me suspicious of it.
I ran the system for about an hour to increase the DO, thought that might help.
Both of the big round planter are getting clogged up. The black drain pipe needs to be drilled before putting it in, as the little slits clog way too easily. I replaced the drain in the little rectangular one this weekend, drilled a bunch of holes in the corrugated pipe and it fixed the problem with that bed. The planters are a lot deeper though and I will just have to live with it until I move things, probably in a month.

The basil needs something, as it is all wrinkly, and the newest growth is getting pale, same on other plants like the green bean and strawberry. I pulled out some of the plants as I think it is at the limit with just the two dozen goldfish feeding them.
It has been cloudy and cold for almost a week, that could be a factor as well. Some sun might help things.

Thanks GF,
Won't be long now, I think I should move it indoors before the middle of October. The fish will be surprised at their new digs. Wish I had a greenhouse like yours.

Inside maybe much better as they say storms comming through here this weekend may produce large hail, ouch. I agree with your timing on the move, maybe even sooner if it was in my neck of the woods.
