I don't know, it will be a balancing act for sure, trying to have a good amount for harvest but not overcrowding before they can be moved outdoors.

I am interested to see how your perch fare. I tried bluegills several years ago but my system was too small. I'd like to give perch another shot someday if the Tilapia become a wash...

I am getting you mixed up with John (GF) in Iowa w/ the greenhouse. Sorry bout that. If you can get Tilapia, I would consider no other. They are the "ants" of the fish world.

For insulation and light refraction I am hooked on that foam board used in construction for insulation. You can get it at Lowes or HD. Is that what you are planning on using?
