The Michael Ferrini style system will certainly live on. Hope to see you back into AP at some time in the future Michael.

Sorry to hear of your problems Mike - I am one that learnt from you and adopted the idea of keeping the water level constant in the fish tank.

Wish you all the best for the future
Les

Bummer that I live so far away Michael. Otherwise I would offer you a spare bedroom and space to place your system. After all you are the one who showed us a different approach to aquaponics with the chift pist. Be too far for the children to commute on weekends though.

I think you should go out and check the schools to see if one would be interested in hosting your system in exchange for the bit of math/science learning it would provide. I am planning to do that with the local HS here as they have a greenhouse that is not really being used at present.

Wishing you the best in the future Michael. Hopefully you will be better able to realize your dreams real soon.

Thank you everyone for your sentiment and well wishes. I am flattered really. I feel so bad about the way I've felt in the past on this forum, and in my personal life as well. Many of you I would consider friends and virtual family for the amount of support you give to each other. You are all a great group of people. I will keep everyone posted on where I land.

P.S. I have bid on a house that has an in ground pool......

Update: My bid was accepted, the house is in escrow. But I still have no place really to put the system.

I have a local educator who is going to get back with me tomorrow about the system. He is interested but needs a place to put it.

I will keep the pool a swimming pool for the first year. Then we will see. muahahaha....
