If the other side of the panel has any thermal mass at all, put it to the inside and protect with the insulation on the outside (provided the insulation side will last out in the elements.) The reflectiveness could be useful on either the inside or outside. Beware, if it is bright and shiny on the outside in the sun, you might need to keep some welding goggles out there so you can walk past it.

If it`s cool room panel it should be UV proof since they make Donga`s from it out your way don`t they?
I would stick it on the outside but whatever`s easiest for you would work.

Outside so you don't lose shed space with the insulation panels.

I will post pics of panels 2 moro but Lungy is correct it was donga panels.
For those that haven't seen them they are 2 sheets of tin separated by about 50mm/2 inch of Styrofoam.
I don't know how many m2 is in the pack but the roof is my primary concern followed by any area closest to the main tank.

I was thinking if it was on the inside there would be an extra air gap between tin supports and cool panels? inside it is :D

This would only work if the panels created a sealed area or the hot air between the panels and the shed walls would heat the room. The sun would still be heating the shed walls and transfering the heat inside.

If you put the panels on the outside then the hot air between them could escape to atmosphere. This way the panles intercept the heat and any that transfers through the panels would rise away from the shed walls.

thats what I reckon :D

Yeah ur prolly right, heat hits outside panel has to travel through foam to inside panel, then has air gap to shed roof. kinda makes sense really.
Only prob with Kalgoorlie is when its hot its hot, winter is coming soon and it maybe cold at night but beautiful days. (can't wait)

C'mon Gnash, where's your BYAP ingenuity :blob:

Haul out the chainsaw from the BYAP tool kit and lop down that fence....beautiful GH framework staring you in the face :evil2:

Looking at the picture of that storm coming....

... it's just possible that the GH frame could be up-rooted and blown [s]over the fence anyway[/s] down the road somewhere
