Great to see you here Alchemist. A few of us went to the aquaponic lectures in 2006, they were great, fantastic to see Rakocy in the flesh and see all about his experiments over the years. What I found most amazing was Dr Savidov's results for his experiments.. Fantastic for aquaponics.

Yes and please, start a thread about your own system and show us some pictures please, if you have them..

Thankyou for your welcome Earthbound. I came across that symposium only as a result of a link posted on your forum ......so thankyou. It was indeed very interesting to hear these expert speakers. I had already had my imagination captured about AP from seeing your set-up on TV so this additional exposure helped to get me underway.

I will cobble some photos together and see what I can do to describe my set-up.

Hi, I live near Berry on the South Coast and have been looking into aquaponics for a while started researching aquaculture and progressed to where I am now. Have been trying to keep up with the threads and finding a lot of good info. Have started to plan a system and will hopefully once I find out whether the Hwy upgrade will affect us get underway in time for spring.

Hi Scott and welcome. Any chance ur blokes in the blue caps could start hanging onto a few catches? Just not the same without Tubby and Mark Waugh shelling em like peas!

Just started up a system in Dubbo, many thanks to mruges for getting me into yet another hobby :). Only small with a bathtub and a couple of poly pipes but i'm already eyeing off vacant areas of the backyard if a bigger holding tank becomes available.

I'm from Lismore. I just wanted to say how refreshing it is to find so many people who willing share their knowledge and experiences, with no return other than to see the AP addiction spread.
Thanks
