cheers KP. It seems ppl are frustrated at undersize fingerlings.

Given I have no real commercial imperatives , I can hang on to them to get them to a reasonable size, when they will be well on the tucker. If it takes a bit longer it doesn't matter, I am not trying to be first into the market or anything. My aim will be to produce silvers as good as Glenwaters, sold when the water has warmed, at a slightly bigger size.

NP TT, I'm a VERY happy customer. A touch OT, but (they're feeding well) but not from the surface (at least not until after I put the lids back on).
How do I encourage them to feed from the surface? (feel free to answer in my thread if too far OT) :-)

I found them a bit skittish, so used to go back a few minutes after feeding. They were always on it. I just wonder if it is bc they were pond reared and scared of birds or anything near the surface that aint food.

Sad to say I won't be able to make it as DH is ill.

In regards to TT's post I defiantly would like some organic silver perch food, and I 'd be interested in fingerings if you spawn them. :D

Sorry you cant make it SG you are going to miss the best AP meet in australia .
Regards Jim.

You'll find all that you need at the upcoming AP meet DBD and will get to see and talk to members with a variety of systems and designs.

I'd certainly recommend you attend. :D

Sorry for the late notice but I won't be able to make this one :(

I spent all day yesterday driving, Melbourne to Albury to Dookie to Melbourne and today and tomorrow I am packing to move house.

When I get settled in I want to start building my system so hopefully I will catch up with some of you for advice then
