I got mine from Oakford Traders on Thomas Rd after trying all local hardware stores in a 20Km radius. I also tried Dawsons Nursery in Forrestfield and a big nursery in Canning Vale, a bird and fish place in Welshpool, City Farmers and of course "B", where the garden attendants knew nothing, yet insisted that they carried Dipel, despite there being no shelf label for this product, or a computer listing for it.

Delgrade, the spuds are still growing, as are the sweet potato.

I think that I need to post some updated photos of my GBs.
I have culled the corn which was stunted, the peas and broad beans, none of which fruited due to lack of Nitrates early in the piece (before Humonia addition).

The Cos lettuce is bolting, I have tommies growing, Silverbeet and Rhubarb are going bonkers, Beetroot, Capsicum & Chilies are all looking healthy.

The male Tilapia which I segregated into the 5KL fish tank must have had at least one "cross dresser" as there are now fry in the fish tank.

The aquarium brood tank (2L plastic ice cream tubs with fly-wire insets) fry were emptied into the aquarium 2 weeks ago and we now have around 60-80 Tilapia between 10 and 30mm long in the Aquarium. This is a doubling of their size in 2 weeks. The females in the Aquarium (60 - 90mm long) are still very shy and hide when they see us.

Perhaps I will get the camera out tomorrow.

Regards,
Tony

Tony, when referencing the taking of pictures the use of the word "perhaps" when stating your intentions is never used... to do so is not only bad forum ettiquette but just a darn right tease.

Please consider others before posting such dribble again :mrgreen:

Rupe,
I apologise for the tease. My intentions were honourable but a number of factors have intervened and no photos have yet been taken.
I am going out the back NOW and will take photos of the current state of the GBs.
{OT = ON}
C1, I managed to ride the faulty chair to the horizontal position without spilling a drop of the amber fluid. Being in a state of near inebriation (3 cans mid strength ion 2 hours), my relaxed state prevented me suffering to any great extent (other than pride). I was able to regain the vertical state without the ignomy of photographic evidence.

There has been no after effects and at this stage there is no need to claim on EB's significant Public Liability insurance policy.
The sobering effect of this incident ensured that I was able to travel the ~30 Km home without any untoward incidents, despite the Multinova flashing the 300D while travelling at 95KM/h and being overtaken by a Commodore travelling at >120KM/h.

{OT = OFF}

Back soon with Piccies..........

OK, Pickies of GB !, 2 & 3 with the usual veggies.

Sulphate of Potash helped fruiting and Chelated Iron fixed the pale leaves.

Note that with just 5 Comets in Sump and 8 Tilapia in the FT, the nitrates were too low and caused stunting of Corn Peas and Broad Beans. nothing moved much until I started adding Humonia. All of this growth is due to this valuable resource (plus a little from fish).
I NEED MORE FISH!
The Tilapia are helping but I need more Ammonia. At present I still need to inject Humponia at least once daily to keep Nitrates >0 ppm.

I also need to modify my GB fill pump suction from the FT, as it sucks from 400 mm below the top. While this will prevent emptying of the FT, it does not transfer any detrius (sp?) from the FT to the GBs.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that worms have populated the GBs after I seeded each with worm castings to introduce them.
We have had a few meals with silver beet, made sweets from Rhubarb and a few beans as well. Tommies are growing bigger.
Dipel has killed off caterpillars, saw one today hanging from a Tomato leaf.

:evil snigger:

Looking good Tony :-). Yep the dipel is good - when the rain stops for long enough to apply it. I would never have thought a month or 2 back that I'd ever say that.
