Looks like a pumpkin. Looks like the same as what I have.
When I asked I was told it was most likely a butternut.... or a blue, or a jap :-) Sorry I can't help more than that, but that's how freebies go eh?

TT, remebered you were thinking of injecting pure oxygen into your fish transport tank.... might be worth a read.....

http://www.oxyedge-chum.com/diffuser,_o ... ubbles.htm

And this one has a handy "SAFE OXYGEN CONCENTRATIONS FOR LIVE FISH TRANSPORT" chart...

http://www.oxyedge-chum.com/how_much_oxygen.htm

Both articles relate directly to transport of "Live" bait fish... but are probably worth a read anyway.

Thx Rupe, will have a good read.
Aussie, the ends of the chicken wire are only crossed over each other at 2-3 places. When that bottom lot are ready I will just unhook the bottom join and cut the whole truss at once.

You're meant to pick those hips Rupe, it encourages the lovely flowers ;-) Just nip em off and toss em in the compost ;-)

well with the 8 initial beds established, I had procrastinated long enough. Yesterday, I dug the drain line for 4 more bathtubs to run lengthways along the gh. This will add another 1000lts of gb space to the system.

I have room at the western end for a 200lt half barrel bio. I may pump to this, drain to some of those 150mm nft stormie pipes I have and drain into the bathtubs underneath. All i need is a connecting pipe from the 150mm stormies to a gb below. I could also use this connecting pipe as a standpipe to set a constant water height inside the stormie pipe. (Just need to cut a hole in the base of the stormie and insert the drain/standpipe to a given height.)

The stormie pipes will need some airstones, haven't got that sorted. Atm, I don't run any power to the gh. Rupe is organising some net pots and away we go. Bit of work but I have a picture of it in my mind. (Which is a lot more than I had when I started on this madness in Feb last year.)

Last wknds new seedlings are firing away Some pics next wk. Harvested 3kg of golden nugget pumpkins so far. Tommies about 2-3 weeks away, pick a zuch every day. Too lazy to pollinate the eggplant so will see if we get anything there.

Dasall, off to Jim's!
