Nice pics, you may want to put a cover over the top of the drain pipe or the frogs will block the flow.

FISH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
20 Silvers and 10 mussels have arrived. I have put 4 of the mussels in my cichlid tank to see how they behave.

1 DOA Silver
Big variation in size, biggets around 70mm smalleest around 30mm, average about 45mm. All seem to be happy looking fo food when I come to the tank. Holding off feeding for 48 hrs and doing some tests.
Currently Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 5. Added a strawberry to the gorwbed also. Water is now crystal clear.

HSM:

Installed my wheelie bin sump a couple of weeks ago and all was going so well.

Until we had 140mm of rain in 24hrs and another 100mm over 3 days following. My sump hole ( about 1m deep) filled with water and raised my sump out of its hole (pics tomorrow). the pressure from the lifted sump stressed the joint back to the bath tub and has also created a leak. Lost about 50% (350L of water). Fishies all ok (have air pump going 24x7 - lucky)

Emergency mode: put 60L bin in place as sump to keep the system going. Siliconed around the bottom of the bath and the drain hole. Leak has stopped.

Outlook another 5 days of rain!.

Help: once the rain stops, and I get the sludge out of the sump hole, how do I stop the sump (240L wheelie bin) from raising out of its hole every time we get heavy rain? We have about 35cms of nice topsoil but then it is clay all the way :( . Took me hours to dig the bloody thing.
