It looks great.. Makes me look forward to spring. I wanted to tie my tomatoes up like that and move them over. Is it hard to keep them tied up? I was looking at some of those professional clip on plastic holders so they could be moved and snapped to any part of a string..

Dan - I believe it is the way to go with tomatoes especially as I have the ability to do long runs...Faye uses those types of ties, there is a pic of them on her thread and also one with them being used on the toms (must do a recce for some  )

Sheeez, she still doing a dirt garden? Certainly she can be swayed into full AP by now! You both must be doing something right. Keep it up! No pun intended.

EKB, I remember the thread where someone (from I think Netherlands) had a picture of the tomatoes connected to runners on a ceiling and run along the floor in a commercial greenhouse (it was the thread you got the idea from I beileive), but I can't for the life of me do a search that finds it. Do you know who it was or where it is?

Just an update, still working on setting up the smaller tank but thought I would put up some pics of the sweet corn (for Tony :D )

Have had the odd corn stalk fall over so use bricks and string to give support

Attachments:
File comment: Planted 18 Nov 07 - cobs are formed but had a high wind problem and missed collecting enough pollen dust...have picked 4 nice cobs off this lot tho
