Unfortunately the link was removed by the author shortly before he left the forum... The primary reason that the edit function was removed....this sort of action makes posts/threads unreadible... Sadly there was at least another member (also since departed) that was claiming "ownership" of his posts... and threatening to do the same thing... Result... "edit" function has since been removed... |

373 post's to edit. What a tool. Now he's learned everything from others he can say he came up with it. I wondered why we have so many guests. That accounts for at least 2. |

maybe outbackozzie or someone else has a link or a copy a pity, really editing sometimes came in handy like to keep drawings up to date couldn't you devise some system to put a flashing mark on an earlier post to show that the author has posted an addendum to a particular post? greetings frank |

or in editing only allow adding to a post, not deleting parts of it would save lots of plowing through long threads and allow for gathering together all information on a topic frank |

All the options were reviewed at the time... the forum package isn't that flexible at times... And it's maintained in any spare time that the Mods might be able to devote to it... Decision was made... it's final... all been discussed before.... |

Thanks, Ozzie Done some searching myself even on Google scholar without result do you remember what the outlines were? I really do appreciate the Mod's efforts, Rupert still it stays a pity that two(?) rotten apples can spoil this beautiful basket. this reflection should make even a "final" decision worthy of reconsideration. But I am not trying to push anybody. I am quite happy with this forum. Frank |

No, way too many beers ago to remember what the outline was - had a lot of info on how to get them to breed etc. The edit button debate is over and done - it would be ugly to bring it back up. The forum does not cost us any money to use - so the moderators decision is final. But I would love to have an edit button |
