Hi all, I was using an Affnan style siphon but somehow it didn't cut well after the draining so I tried to go from a 3/4"-1.1/4" reducer to a 3/4"-1.5" and it's now working like a suiss clock. The bell has a 2.5" pipe and the strainer a 4" pipe. I am using a RESUN SP 3800 25 Watt Height max. 1,8 mtr Max. Output 2.000 L/H pump. Actually the 18W model would have worked just as well but the price was the same so thought it might last longer. FIshtank is glassfiber 800L and growbed 600L with gravel as media. Henning
