I have a system ( 200 gallons) with pond, tank, and sump tank. I have been using one pump for a while but it has stoped working. Since this, I switched to a newer, but smaller pump. A month later it also has stoped. The pump is on a timer and when it switches on you can hear it "buzzing" but the blades dont spin unless you toy with it, or knock it agianst something to get them moving agian. Of course this will not work for AP flood and drain since I can't always be there to knock them back on. I do not know the type of pump, or manufacture. One is older than the other, but both are having the same problem. I would rather not buy one if I can salvage one from these 2.
Anyone handy at working on pumps???Any help will be appreciated!
