Guys I have a weird sized pump fitting and the thread that is on the pump housing. I can screw the adapter on (the 1 that fits nothing I can see) and push over to top of it all (heating it up in water) some 25mm green line HP Poly hose. Apart from the plastic clips I can add to secure it, any other types I can that wont affect fishies? Its a 2750ltr per hr pump I got for nothing that works fine, to good just to throw |

Erich wrote: kewl - I was hoping stainless would be ok - thankyou Just make sure it is at least 316 Stainless Steel as there are different grades of stainless steel... Just in case you don't know, you can roughly check if it is 316SS by trying to pick it up with a strong magnet... If it gets picked up, it is probably not 316SS... Although I did not really check mine as they were sold as 316SS... |

Ivan i work at a boat shop with 304 and 316 staino . .this isnt stricly true. but your right 316 staino is best, anything else will rust slowly. also give em a little wash before they go underwater, some have oil / grease on them |

Thanks guys I heated some black 25mm Poly pipe up on the BBQ and forced it over the union, very tight however a clamp to play it safe Its GB on top of FT (IBC system) so if it comes of, it will just circulate the water in the FT anyways |
