Guys, I have located some good Besser Bricks for $2:50 each - about 30 of them. I would like to use them as a base for my blue barrel system. I am able to make a pod of 5 framed together that will sit nicely on 2 x 3m x 200mm x 50mm thick H4 board . I am wondering if putting down 4 verticals will do and if im able to lay the first one normally and the second standing up - so 390 high? One would gather that there would be approx 400kgs over the whole area. I am able to add a center support in the way of a permapine post cut to length screwed down from the vertical H4 supports if I really need to Just looking for cheapish way to support this, as I have 30 to do The thing I have learnt with all this, bigger GB's are easier as in plumbing and setting up than many smaller |

If you mean standing up on their ends, I wouldn't try that. Stacked on their flat side or on the edge would be the most stable. |

yes - on their ends. So for the 390 x 190 x 140 wide, I was looking at 390 upwards I have seen a few peoples systems set up like this tonight, just wondering how they are going |

Might be just me but I dont think they would be stable enough like that, and not have the structural strength that they are designed for. |
