Plastic? you mean PVC? bunnings is always a good fallback if you cant find it anywhere else, and open till 9pm most nights. If they dont have exactly what you want, they normally have something close that you can cobble together. |

I think Wetearth will have what you want... and yes Bunnings should have 40mm (50mm??) although their prices are not as low as they claim to be.... http://www.wetearth.com.au/Ball-Valves Hey Pete, I think Bunnings opening hours have changed... the store near me closes at 9pm on weekdays... 7pm on weekends... |

And yes Perth Irrigation... not sure if they actually sent to Victoria... I suggested Wet Earth because they are in Victoria (I think).... but yes I use Perth Irrigation myself. Great service and owner operated, so we are supporting the locals... |

i found their minimum quantities for some purchases were quite reasonable and in fact married up well with my needs for the system... and i dont have to leave the house, just open the mailbox wait til weekend and go build. |

No, unless they, or your entire plumbing is too small (< 19mm)... They can build up a bit of bio-film over time... just open/close them every now and then... |

mine is 3/4", i think thats just about fine yes? thats a good idea about the opening and closing in either case though, but will be a bit of work to rebalance all three of them so my GB's all get an equal water flow :/ |

Use a marker to draw a line across the valve. Open full and return to the marker line. |
