Does anybody make/supply check valves for 19mm poly? It appears my new Tornado pump allows the water to flow back down from the tub above it on the back deck!

Most pumps will. Especially centrifugal.
Try taking the inflow pipe higher than the maximum water level, then it wont drain.

Huh???

Make it higher then the max water level.... what the max head of the pump Kuda??

Don't know if they do make a check valve for 19mm... know there's a 25mm check valve...

Why not just run the 19mm into 25mm pipe for supply to the beds?....

you can definately get a 19mm check valve. I know Murray had them because I got one off him once. I suspect irrigation shops may have one.

Just put an air hole in the pipe so it breaks the siphon when the pump stops.

I had the problem early on.
turn my pump off, and it will siphon from the GB.
So I made sure the inlet was above the max water level of the GB, and voila, only the water in the pipe drains, and it doesn't siphon from GB.
Perhaps I read the question wrong.

It's a bit of a strange set-up, but for now I've connected another bit of poly that extends up to the minimum water line, to stop the back flow. I'll try and find a check valve later

I think Kuda means run the water into the tub from above the max tub fill level,
a bit like a tap filling a hand basin.
Water can't get back into the pipe once its dropped out into the tub!

Ended up getting one of these http://biasboating.com.au/p-947-medium- ... -25mm.aspx

Not as cheap as I hoped, but did the trick.
