I've got a bathtub system on limestone blocks, ugly but effective. Looking to do something to make it look better.

I've got lots of Connect-It lengths (aluminium square tubing)
http://www.rcr.com.au/index.php/Connect ... ct-It.html

so I'm thinking of making a frame out of the ConnectIt then bolting on some sort of panelling. what I have in mind is polycarb roofing like Laserlite. Light and easy to work with.
Would love to have nice timber panels but it's beyond my budget and woodworking skills.

any other suggestions?

I used cheap fencing panels to cover the bottom of my IBC's - was able to cut each in half so went twice as far - used 1x4's for an internal frame

This is an example when it was under construction - I'd cut it right up to the bottom of the tub, should look professional with a little effort

EDIT: obviously an unfinished example intentionally so you could see the difference

i have previously used a bamboo skirt on a above ground pond that looked quite nice and was cheap to do, you could easily attach something like that to the connect it frame

might need a backing of some sort though

just another option
Cheers

Maybe colourbond the same colour as your fence. Make a skirt similar to the the wooden ones on muffetsmans IBC only out of colourbond fence posts and tack some fence pannels to it.

I've never got around to it but the original plan was to put some sort of cladding around these frames.
Under the edge of the bathub is a 45x50 pine support. But most of the weight is on the base.
Photo is from before I linked both them together with one mega siphon.
