Hi all,
I currenlty have a HPM D809/1TWIN timer "supposedly" has 15 minute increments. Problem is the the 15 min on section actually runs for about 23mins. So I am lloking for a timer that gets me closer to 15mins. I want to run 15 on / 45 off flood drain cycle.

My new pump (thanks Monya) is just too powerful for my 2 grow beds so floods really quickly, and I think it may be staying flooded for too long 23min/hr.

Suggestions anyone?

Digital timers ,, EXTREMELY accurate ,, within a second , as many on and offs as you want ,, not expensive ..... maybe $35?
I'll hunt and come back.

Ideally I would like to be able to have 15min on / 45 off over the full 24 hr cycle. So that makes 24 ons / 24 offs per day. I could cut a few back overnight but would still need about 18ons 18 offs.

I do have supplemental airation (30L/min) with batttery backup.

aaaww, and I though I was being clever, about to copy and paste :(

I would really like one that allows me turn the pumps off once per hour for 5 minutes, clears all the water from the beds.....

In the interim, it may be worth going to a 15/60 or even 15/75 cycle until you get a more accurate timer.

be aware that digital timers that don't have battery back up
need to be reset after a blackout.(even a short one)

That could be good. does 20on/off mean 20ons + 20 offs (ie I can set 20 cycles) or 10 cycles????

get two and piggyback them...when one runs out of cycles, leave it on so the other can switch the pump off again.

No worries ,, joke about money-up-front.
I think your local Bunnings will have what your looking for ,, $35 should do the trick.
