I have set up two pumps on timers. Originally I had a bugger of a time trying to control the amount of water pumped in 15 mins. Originally i used a cheap timer around $10 and found the time could vary from 18mins to 25 mins every time it kicked in. Purchased a heavy duty timer $25, and they are a lot more consistent, a min either side of 15 mins. Moral of the story, you only get what you pay for.

I have a cheap $10 digital timer on my hydro system and it is perfect. try Big W or even crazy clarks. I got mine from "the Warehouse" which is basically crazy clarks but bigger, same company I think.
