Hey folks!

I was looking for Beaver Plastics rafts but cannot find any in Canada.

Looks like I have to make my own, but cannot find out which material will work. I want food safe ofc, but building material companies do not give info on this.

What should I buy from https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home.html ?

Can I use any of these? https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/catego ... ation.html

My AP setup is much different from DWC, but what I've seen on the AP sites is simple sheets
of styrofoam. Not sure exactly how the holes are cut for the netpots, but it cant be that difficult.

Cutting the holes is no problem, but finding the right material is.

Worried about the paint on these: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/owens- ... 1000436411

There are some commercial versions that are made but I'm not certain where to get them - This might give you a starting point - https://www.friendlyaquaponics.com/2017/03/08/raft-discussion/. FWIW, foam is mostly air so very little really to it except that. Dow Blue Board has been used for many DWC installations if you can find it - (pretty sure this is what Univ. of the Virgin Islands used for theirs). I would look in the phone book for insulation suppliers in your area, they might carry it if no one else does.
