| Post subject: | PVC fittings |
Just wanted to let everyone know about my PVC fitting experience and probably most peopel already know I checked my local plumbing supplier B and M10 plus a local WA online supply and Wetearth. Even with shipping I saved in excess 200% even with shipping costs from Wetearth. and the dealings with them was great. some hardware shops will only stock class18, I guess to cover themselves from people using lower class fitting inappropriately. A local WA on-line supplier were almost competitive with Wetearth, but wanted to charge me more to have it delivered ex Perth as opposed to Queensland. examples PVC Barrel Unions 25mm local hardware $9.42 Wetearth $3.80 PVC 90degree elbow 25mm local $3.32 Wetearth $1.30 |

Rup, I think main difference is material of construction one is your standard black poly the other is stronger nylon based fitting? it would be to do with pressure that can be applied and robustness to environmental conditions OR I have no idea!!!!!! |

Always intended to get my stuff from wetearth when in a position to put in a bulk order, knwoing exactly what I want. Great price if you get everything at once in that flat rate freight fee. Problem is that I like many have built in dribs and drabs and not known from one move to the next what I'll be using |
