while looking at the equipment early today and not happy with power cords/outlet in meter box and storage of food and bits.... I had a brainwave/snap

30 minutes later a dead refrigerator was in my posesion, 30 minutes after getting home its an empty shell.

Only major thing is strengthening the door a sheet of ply will do that, then play around cut vents in sides for fresh air, extra supports for the adjustable shelves and I will be able to store everything, safely & securely all out of the weather and moisture etc..

You intelligent ones have most likely already done this. :laughing3:

The back I had cut first thinking Id just do fly wire then thought vents in case moisture wanted to be invited. The elbow is for power cord(s) to enter safely.

We did a similar thing at the BYAP shop, mice kept climbing the shelves and chewing at the fish feed bags so I bought a drinks fridge for a shop, a large one with two clear glass doors and lots of shelving perfect for stacking all the feed into with their diffedrent sized bags and different pellet sizes..

funny you should bring this up, Ive been away from home awhile and mentioned that SWMBO must have been over feeding the fish, but nooooooo,. those pesky little varmints have been climbing up the power cords at the back, coming in through the 90mm elbow, feeding their little bellies and going back home...

well a rub with vaseline jelly on the power cords has fived that, plus a ice cream container of old engine oil.
the little shoits  make a flying leap onto the power cord to climb up, slip on the vaseline and fall and drown in oil. :laughing3: :D

lol You're like a twisted evil mastermind..

you could just block the gap around the cords. Orrrrr, you could devise an evil way to destroy them... :sinister laugh:
