I called into my Local Home brew shop to pick up supplies for my next brew ( Which happens to do wine as well )
They have new 1500 litre UV treated plastic tanks for $520 ( they sell them for wine vats so would be food grade) Thought I'd give it a mention They would look good as a fish tank
Brew shop is is epping vic
Cheers
Ron

You don't have the dimensions for it Ron - nice minimum depth is 600mm :D

Seems like that would be a lot more expensive than 2 IBC's. Probably not as pretty though :)

Theses tanks are perfect they are food grade plastic and are 900mm high. I have three of them that i got second hand for a ripper of a price. Unfortunately they are just too expensive brand new, spend another 500 and you'll have a 2000lt polymaster aquaculture tank with a sloping bottom.

i think it's best to stick with the IBC's unless you can really afford it.
