Feeling a bit silly but I cant figure this out. I have several round plastic tubs that will be in my system. How do you get a water-tight fitting thru the curved surface?

Are "bulkhead" fittings for flat plastic?

What is the diameter of the tubs? What is the wall thickness of the tubs?

A uniseal or a bulk head fitting may do it if it's not too tight of a curve on the wall.

I have used to a uniseal to suit 40mm pipe out of the side of a 90mm pipe.

Some tips on using these that may not work in all situations.

Taper the walls on the end of the pipe to help get it started and use liquid dish detergent to coat the Uniseal and end of pipe so it's easier to push in. On larger pipes it helps to use a clamp (the type you can remove the head, run the clamp into the pipe and then re-attach the clamp head (basically the clamp is going through the pipe and you can use it to squeeze the pipe in and as a lever to orient the pipe the right way.

uniseals can be used on any curve where you are joining pipes at least twice the size of each other.
