I pulled a 70g aquarium off the side of the road thanks to the free section on Craiglist.

I currently have an IBC as my outdoor fish tank. Grow seasons are so short here in Colorado, I thought maybe I could bring in any fish once it starts to turn cold out and keep them in an aquarium indoors.

Realistically, how many tilapia could I keep in the 60g tank? The general rule is what, 1g per every inch of fish?

So, I could safely keep 10 6" tilapia in the tank over the winter? I also have a spare 10g tank that I could put one or two in if I needed to.

Trying to keep fish production year round.

Yeah you could theoretically put 10 6" tilapia in a 60 gallon tank. You are going to be a water changing maniac to keep your water quality up though.
