Looking for some help on my ibc setup. Wondering what size pvc I should use for the drains coming out of the grow beds and returning to the sump, also what size pvc from fish tank to swirl filter then to sump, and fish tank to grow beds? Just wanna make sure I'm gonna use the right size.

This is one of those "opinions are like buttholes" things, but I can give you my personal preferences:

Everything from the FT to filters/GBs 2" reducing down to 1" just before they get to the individual beds with a valve to control flow.

From GBs to sump 1" if it's going a short distance to the sump. If the sump is say 10+ feet away use a common 3" or 4" drain and have short 1" runs from the GBs to the 3"/4".

Always Schedule 40 if possible or DWV if not, never ever SDR.

depends on the size of system and flow rate, what LCTNPer said is fine for his flow rate. which sounds quite low.

for higher flow rates then larger is needed (of a higher head, but that isnt always the best option for when the pump is turned off).

eg. i run no less than 8kl hour to a tank roughly, i wouldnt use anything less than 75mm for drain, but usually use 90mm.

Yep, I'm definitely thinking of kind of an average single FT system with sump and beds that are 4'x4' or smaller in that post. It will vary depending on the size of your system for sure.

I prefer to "standardize" on as few sizes as possible. I found that using 2" for any supply / drain line was good, and for plumbing for individual grow beds I went with 3/4". The idea was to reduce the number of spare parts I had to keep on hand for doing modifications.

In some cases 2" was overkill but it meant I didn't have to run to the store to buy extra stuff.

I used 40 mm (1 1/2") every where except the SLO and the first couple of meters of FT discharge.
