Can't be certain :dontknow: . This sounds like an opaque plastic that's used to change paints and how they reflect or transmit light. My guess is this is mostly in suspension and if you cleaned the tank well there probably isn't much of it left but I really can't be certain and I think you're going to have to figure out what you're comfortable with. You could call the manufacturer and see what they say.

FYI - Occasionally finishes and paints have metal flakes added into them for the light reflection and I'm not sure about this additive.

For the peace of mind I will pass on the IBC Opaque polymer HIQUE 332, thank you for all your inputs.

Another one, between IBCs that use to housed "soybean oil" and "sanitizer", which one would be best for aquaponics ?

I purchased two tanks. Both had originated in India. Both had polymer liquids in them, water based. Neither were hazardous. I wasn't sure, so I rang the company in India. The head of their export department found that all I needed to do was to wash the totes out very well, prior to use.

I had them washed, then filled with water and let set for several days. Then, emptied and washed and filled again.

Go for the soybean oil, Feeelong. :thumbleft: That one you just have to wash out really well, and any leftover traces should be biodegradable; 'sanitizer' is almost certainly going to be toxic to your nitrifying bacteria.
