I am running a 250 ltr second tank. It has a central drain connected to an external SLO.
Found this little fella staring up at me today.
I have a wide mesh drain guard, at the SLO overflow point to prevent inquisitive fish from traveling on into the system.
At the moment the tank is isolated ( pump in tank) and the SLO is not functional.
The central saucer cover to the drain has maybe max a 1 cm clearance.
I am thinking that maybe I should have removed the saucer and inserted an internal SLO with smaller holes drilled appropriate to fish size.
I poured water down the pipe and he went home.
