Well people, time to design (and share) what you use to plant your seedlings in your gravel etc... 8)
As gravel is the cheapest media to plant in lets see if we can come up with a design for a simple planting tool to work in gravel.

Good question-AM.
I have found a good use for those salad servers that never work.
Also tongs, you know those spring loaded ones that crap everyone off.
Just dig them in closed, separate a bit to place the seedling in between and then remove gently. For me it works a treat.

I have found the good old eating fork and desert spoon work well too - nothing high tech about them and they work great!

The fork saves the five fingered device for more delicate 'things'... my gravel is a bit harsh on the fingertips!

The misses hates using them.
I got a walk up start as they were handed to me prior to planting.
Hate to admit it but sometimes wifey has good ideas...
(gets slap on back of head..!!!)
