Post subject:  Info on AP

Hi all,
I am new to aquaponics and am designing a vertical garden that i would like to use for aquaponics system. I would also like to use glass for the fish or yabbie tanks beneath. The tanks will be around 500-600lt at 1.6 x .8 x .4m. I have approximately 2m2 of vertical garden above using the Growall pro system with the slide in-out trays. Has anyone tried something of this nature and could you advise of any pitfalls or any advice?

Kind regards
Mark

Hi Mark,

Glass tanks are fine to use but just be weary that because AP is a chemical and aquaria product free system, there will be a build up of bio-film on the tank walls and also tea coloured water is not uncommon.

In regards to the growall pro system, Im not quite sure how you can get that to work. You need some form of biofiltration, what are your idea's?
