That's neat. Good job Dave. Any idea how much this cost you relative to purchasing one of the ones for cattle or something along those lines? |

Thanks! Not including the John Guest fittings (about $3.00 each) the whole assembly was $14.77 in parts from Home Depot. The JG fittings are convenient but there are cheaper alternatives and would need to be tailored to your individual application. So, for under $15 it seemed worth it to me. Oh, I also didn't include the 2" PVC pipe I made the weight out of but that's not necessary either. I could have filled the stand feet with river rock instead. |

You could do away with that whole stand and the weight if you had a way to attach it to something that ran down into the water from above (like a PVC pipe). |
